This week, we'll have the Saturday Sitting on the same schedule.

We are planning to post up flies.
We will meet at 1 pm in front of Lockwood Library, Wednesday.
It takes 30-40 minutes.

Josh's Mu and Lecture 1-2 of Mubul

Dear Dharma Friends,

Today Dharma Teacher posted "first part of Chapter 1 Josh's Mu" in Gateless Gate.

You can enjoy the essence of Zen teachings.

In fact, Josh's Mu is the very recommened question traditionally.

According to the prominent masters, the key point is to ask myself "why Josh answered "Mu".

If there is no questioning mind of "why", he is already dead.

So, keep the questioning mind of "why" always and at anytime.

Have good time with the question. The question will bring you to a real refuge center for all agonies.

Proof Reader Wanted

Dear Dharma Friends,

Just before, I put the "lecture 1-2 of Mubul on No-Mind of Bodhidharma" on the Zen section in our Home Page. Now, you can enjoy the article in more comfortible version in English.

Just before Gonzalez sent to us the proofread version.
we are so pleased to have it done so quickly.

Any one can participate in this proofreading process becasue the English is quite easy to you all.
You just quickly read it, and if there are some flows, then correct it.
You don't have to spend much time on this job.
Our whole job is another preliminary work. Sooner or later somebody may find our something wrong in the translations.
In that case, we can just correct it once more.

If I complete the third part of the lecture, I will send you.
Those who have a little time, can join this job.

Cancellation on Saturday Sitting Feb.25

Dear Dharm Friends,

How are you?
We are so sorry to notice that the coming Saturday Sitting Feb. 25 will be cancelled because the room is not available in Student Union, etc.

It seems we are on the right tract for organizing the Buddhist Group.
But, this weekend we have some troubles in reserving the room.
Two weeks ago, we did Sitting on flat room without carpet.
It must be so cold and painful to some members.
Given this experience, I couldn't reserve a room without carpet.

March first Saturday, we will have the two hour sitting right as planned.
I hope that you will sit by your self even five minutes on Saturday.
